Our show is just a bit different this year.

As we all know, many of the car shows we all attend during the year have been canceled or modified this year. The New Hope Automobile Show is no different. We wanted to have a show, but it meant making substantial modifications to our traditional format. The most noticeable change is the number of show cars that we can accommodate. In order to adhere to township, county, and state regulations, we will be limited to just 150 cars on the field.

No judging this year.

The second most noticeable change is that there will be no judging. Social-distancing regulations prohibit the in-depth, close-up evaluations that our respected judges normally perform. So, this year we will let show car owners and the visiting public cast their votes for the best car in the show. A People’s Choice Award will be given to the winner.

Senior Cars will be featured.

In an effort to present the highest quality automobiles to our attendees, we are limiting participation to Senior Cars only. These are cars that have earned AACA, CCCA, LCOC, or RROC recognition for excellence. All Seniors in attendance will receive the customary New Hope Automobile Show Senior Class ribbon.

Non-Senior Cars may join a waitlist.

But, because we can’t really predict how many Seniors we will have, we are establishing July 24th as the cutoff date for registering Senior Cars. If by July 24th we have not filled our field of 150 cars, we will have a waitlist of Non-Senior Cars that we can add to fill out the field.

So we welcome all Seniors to register before July 24th. And we welcome all Non-Senior cars to join our waitlist by registering before July 24th.

Please select the registration button below that fits your automobile. We look forward to seeing everyone at this year’s show!

Something extra.

We said this show was going to be a bit different.

A special award for one Show Car: At the show’s conclusion at 3pm, a random drawing of all show car owners will be held. The winner will receive $500. (car and car owner must be present to win).

Do spectators and show car owners get refunds if the Show is canceled?

In the Age Of Covid-19, that’s a great question!

Depending on the COVID-19 situation, state, county, or local agencies could add additional limits or withdraw approval for the 2020 New Hope Automobile Show at any time. You’ll agree that the circumstances surrounding such a decision are completely fluid and out of the control of the New Hope Solebury Community Association, the legal nonprofit entity that presents the Show.

What is for sure, though, is that the charities and beneficiaries receiving donations from the proceeds from the Show still rely on our financial support. Therefore, in the event the Show is further limited or canceled by governmental authority, full or partial (treated as a donation) refunds may be requested in writing. Or you may request that your donation be applied to next year’s Show.

No matter what, we would be honored if you would consider your Show admission, vendor, or registration fee as a charitable donation to these worthy causes.
